Scientists have strictly warned that male reproduction will be at risk when they smoke e-cigarettes because it lowers both libido and sperm counts.
They used a lens to look at the rats' testicles and count how much sperm they made.
Regular cigarettes, on the other hand, are even worse because they have been linked to male infertility for a long time.
The team from Sivas Cumhuriyet University wrote, "It should be thought that even though (e-cigarette) liquid has been shown to be safe in studies on quitting smoking, it could increase oxidative stress and change the shape of the testicle."
There are some problems with the study, though, because it was only done on
rats. The writers want to do more research on how vaping affects male people.
